It is funny to me that as I get older the most significant change in my political belief system has been that I am less authoritarian. I suppose that is probably because the authoritarian wings of the left and right seem to have such a strangle hold on their respective political parties.
Allow me to demonstrate. Am I supposed to be happy about smoking bans and seat belt laws? Because I'm not.
